Hello.
I have this problem with being touched and/or getting my personal space invaded. The being touched isn't too bad, in general, as I tend to merely "reclaim" the part of me that's been touch (Such as rubbing my hands together after a handshake). However there are times, such as, when a friend of mine sneaks up and hugs me or - worse - caressed my cheek (with his nose, no less) - and these actions will make me scream at the top of my lungs from all consuming fear. He stops then, usually, but then I'll feel tense, I'll start to hyperventilate and the fear doesn't leave until a great while later. Of course, this reaction is overrated from his point of view, making me subject to this quite often. Do you have any advice to make these reactions of mine stop or diminish? Is it an anxiety attack of some sort, do you think?

Thank you in advance,
Mara.
